     This song really ministers to me because there was a time that I didn’t find myself worthy of anything...

I didn’t feel like I deserved God’s blessings or even His love. I didn’t think that I deserved anyone’s love, but I’m glad that God didn’t see me the way I saw me. He saw past my imperfections and my low self-esteem. He saw my potential for greatness and thought enough of me to save me when I couldn’t save myself. He picked me up and showed me the life He had for me. It is because of him that I know I am worthy of anything He has for me, and I stand here ready to receive it. So don’t allow the disappointments in your life to make you feel like you are not worth anything. Do not let other’s perception of you make you miss out on your blessings. Stand firm in God knowing that He didn’t make you by accident. He has a plan and a purpose for you. He didn’t hesitate to sacrifice His life for you so don’t hesitate to give yours.

     Messages like this tend to pull our shirt tails and remind us of who we are and who’s we are when we are going through some really tough times in our lives. So many of us struggle regularly with the rejection/acceptance tug-of-war. We don’t always realize when it creeps into our thoughts. Our enemy is cunning and can infiltrate our minds in various ways. In our humanity, we tend to forget as well that the enemy pits us against one another to fulfill his plan of destruction. This is why it is important that we remember or remind ourselves of similar words like those within this song.
