The Heart of B&F Ministry
"A bird and fish may fall in love, but where will they make a home?" The naming of the ministry is not arbitrary. It is the best example to describe our core belief. It is easy for people of similar backgrounds and cultures to communicate and coexist within their own habitats. However, what if God called us to be able to do the same with others? The real question becomes how can two different people from two vastly differing perspectives love one another or simply just get along? Easy. Let God build your habitat and have dominion over it. (Ephesians 3:14-21)
Marriage and Relationship Education
Opposites do attract, and thankfully so! Marriage and Relationship Educators (MRE) are at the forefront of a movement to improve the status of marriage as a whole in this country. As marriage educators, we define ourselves as advocates who are passionate about all things related to marriage. In fact, as marriage educators (also referred to as "relationship educators"), we focus on improving the health and status of marriages as our calling. We work on various levels to bring programs to a society plagued with conflict, infidelity, divorce and blending families. In addition, we provide pre-marriage enrichment courses to engaged couples.
MREs also help individuals, couples, employees, and employers gain the knowledge and skills needed to create loving relationships or healthy work environments. By helping others to understand that differences are a blessing and how to appreciate them in others, relationships whether personal or professional stand a better chance to achieve success. We teach individuals, couples, and groups how to better manage conflict by developing and practicing effective ways of communicating with one another. We also teach how to recognize healthy relationships and respond to the ongoing issues and challenges of a life-long healthy relationship or an effective and productive work environment.
Client Note: We offer an opportunity for you to better understand our beliefs and values so you may carefully consider our services before we work together in this process. Please click here to see a more detailed breakdown of our core principles.

What We Provide
|
|
In both personal and business relationships, our coursework is spiritually led, yet practically driven. Research shows that approximately 44% of the writings in the New Testament are about how we get along with one another. We study biblical concepts in an academic setting to better understand how to apply them in our daily relationships, at home and in the workplace. Taking part in a non-clinical environment lessens anxiety and resistance.
We design coursework that is dedicated to exploring some of the key components to a successful, Godly marriage and relationships. Students discuss realistic issues and solutions provided through assignments and activities to learn how to create and maintain a redemptive atmosphere. Jesus taught and stressed the importance of reconciliation. Then He himself reconciled us with the Father. This "must" be the foundation of all relationships. This is the key. Let us help you to unlock the doors. |
“A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.”
