WHO WE ARE
B&F Ministry is founded by relationship educators, Darrel and Sheree Hope, who believe in collectively supporting education within marriages and relationships through the Bible. The courses and instructors associated with BFDC are designed to help others recognize and understand the gift(s) that one gains from being involved in healthy relationship(s).
WHAT WE DO
We are relationship educators who focus primarily on marriage within the family structure, but we also assist individuals and business groups who are struggling with conflicts within workplace. Many Marriage & Relationship Education programs are successfully engaging its participants in learning how to be more effective partners, parents, or individuals. Studies suggest that the programs’ focus on the improvement of relationships is a very effective strategy. Targeting this issue helps people to become more actively and responsibly engaged within their personal as well as their professional relationships for themselves and with others.
WHY WE "EDUCATE"
Many people live out their lives never understanding that God has placed many of our needs in others all around them. Even more, some may never grasp that there are forces working to prevent us from receiving this very revelation. When we are not able to tap into one another as we are designed to do, we miss out on specific blessings. No, this is not to say that all blessings are tied into relationships. However, some pretty important ones can be. Understanding this biblical mindset, God will carefully reveal situations and circumstances in our lives just by who we are "connected" to.
HOW WE DO THIS
We implement this strategy by building a stronger relationship with God through scripture, His words. By applying the Word, we can begin to recognize how we can create bonds of "lack" instead of "abundance" in our emotions, health, and psyche. Clients will begin with re-learning and re-defining the definition of "relationship" from its original Greek meaning. In addition, clients will be able to identify and relate to detailed biblical and practical scenarios that demonstrate the types of relationships that have taken root in their life. All courses will end with helpful strategies to better discern, restore and improve, or even eliminate associations to better life connections.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS
Our courses are designed to help us recognize the benefits of healthy relationships in our various environments. Healthy family, social, and professional relationships add value to life and make accomplishing our goals easier. We can spend so much time trying to advance our own agendas that we can overlook the fact that there are others around us who are willing and able to assist us in our success. This, at times, will lead us to endure unnecessary hardships as we attempt to do things alone when those around us can help us to achieve them faster, and at times, better. When we have healthy relationships, our quality of life improves, and we can reach our goals with less struggles.
WHO CAN WE HELP
Individual, Couples, and Families. According to the Center For Student Wellness (2014), the academic definition of a healthy relationship is a partnership filled with good communication, boundaries, shared responsibility, honesty, accountability, trust, respect, and support. Do you agree with that? Is this an appropriate description of your relationship(s) in your life today? If not, then chances are this is for you.
Business Is A Relationship, Not A Sale. Your customers are not dollar signs. In fact, the potential of making money is great, but it is not what keeps the doors open for many proprietors and corporations. How do mom and pop stores remain open in the face of a struggling economy? Better yet, why do they die out once the owner is no longer able to keep the business running? It is not always the loss of market or the cost of operations as much as it is the community losing the presence of a genuine relationship. Let us help your professional team understand the true meaning of relationship through team building courses.

Why Relate?
Have you ever seen that couple together? You know the two odd, completely polar opposite individuals who walk past you in the mall or the park holding hands and lovingly talking back and forth with one another. You wonder what brought "these two" together? Well there's an understanding about relating to one another that even the secular world can grasp the concept when necessary. It's not a secret. In fact, we as believers should be the ultimate display of such acceptance. More...

B2B Is A Relationship, Not A Sale.
Your customers are not dollar signs. In fact, the potential of making money is great, but it is not what keeps the doors open for many proprietors and corporations. How do these mom and pop stores remain open in the face of struggling economy? Better yet, why do they die out once the owner is no longer able to keep the business running themselves? It is not always the loss of market or the cost of operations as much as it is the community losing the presence of a genuine relationship. Many of us have stories about the neighborhood candy lady or the dilapidated corner gas station we walked to as children for our snacks. Why do we hold on to these memories? RELATIONSHIP!

If you think back over it, there was some form of connection tied to your frequenting these places. The owners may have tolerated you and your eight or more friends coming in all at once disturbing the other adult customers. Some can remember the owners taking a personal interest in their life? Remember these? "How was school today? Let me see your report card and I might have an extra treat for you. Don't worry about the change, I have it. You hangin' around that bad apple crew?" When your business is tied to a relationship, chances are your customer base will be proof of its survival.
Let's Create Better Relationships
Workshops and conferences help leaders, mentors, and researchers to translate their knowledge into a tangible form of impact. These types of venues assemble leaders, intellectuals, and those seeking alternative solutions from a variety of backgrounds. However, these events go beyond early-stage research questions. Workshops are based on innovative ideas in addition to real life situations that have already been developed to some extent but are now ready for further deep exploration. Outcomes vary from spiritually based to practical application. We are confident that our results will fulfill future publications, further developed workshops, influence policy modifications, and for some the development or enhancement of an ongoing mentor/coach program.
