The Heart of B&F Ministry
"A bird and fish may fall in love, but where will they make a home?" The naming of the ministry is not arbitrary. It is the best example to describe our core belief. It is easy for people of similar backgrounds and cultures to communicate and coexist within their own habitats. However, what if God called us to be able to do the same with others? The real question becomes how can two different people from two vastly differing perspectives love one another or simply just get along? Easy. Let God build your habitat and have dominion over it. (Ephesians 3:14-21)
Research shows that approximately 44% of the writings in the New Testament are about how we get along with one another. This is why in both personal and business relationships, our coursework is spiritually led, yet practically driven. We study biblical concepts in an academic setting to better understand how to apply them in our daily relationships, at home and in the workplace.

Here, we share our personal experiences with you via our social media outlets. We candidly share what the Lord gives us while we are going through many of our "points of discovery" or tirades of losing the game called I Know What I'm Doing. We hope that through sharing our thoughts and revelations, we are able to help "transform" some perspectives and attitudes about relationships.

“The older I get, the less time I want to spend with the part of the human race that didn’t marry me.”
-Robert Brault What Is A Healthy Relationship?Have you ever seen that couple together? You know the two odd, completely polar opposite individuals who walk past you in the mall or the park holding hands and lovingly talking back and forth with one another. You wonder what brought "these two" together? Well there's an understanding about relating to one another that even the secular world can grasp the concept when necessary. It's not a secret. In fact, we as believers should be the ultimate display of such acceptance.
According to the Center For Student Wellness (2014), the academic definition of a healthy relationship is a partnership filled with good communication, boundaries, shared responsibility, honesty, accountability, trust, respect, and support. Do you agree with that? Is this an appropriate description of your relationship(s) in your life today? If the answer is no, consider taking advantage of the services we have available just for you.

Let's Create Better Relationships Workshops and conferences help leaders, mentors, and researchers to translate their knowledge into a tangible form of impact. These types of venues assemble leaders, intellectuals, and those seeking alternative solutions from a variety of backgrounds. However, these events go beyond early-stage research questions. Workshops are based on innovative ideas in addition to real life situations that have already been developed to some extent but are now ready for further deep exploration. Outcomes vary from spiritually based to practical application. We are confident that our results will fulfill future publications, further developed workshops, influence policy modifications, and for some the development or enhancement of an ongoing mentor/coach program.
